Kathryn Wiggins is a painter with roots in rural Mississippi. She received watercolor instruction and grew to love painting at a young age, and she went on to major in painting at Mississippi State University where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. After a study-abroad semester to Italy in 2004, she chose to pursue higher education abroad. She completed a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from Edinburgh College of Art in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2009. She now lives back in Mississippi with her husband and two young sons, where she continues to make art and teach art classes.
